Sitting Today
Here you are, sitting, perhaps for a few minutes longer.
Notice that you are alive and in your body.
Life is a gift, even when it doesn't feel like one.
Modify your posture for comfort, encouraging ease in your body.
Focus on breathing in and breathing out.
Follow the complete breath in and out.
Focusing on breath calms your body.
Now, as you breathe in gently lift your spine and as you breathe out relax your body.
Let lifting be like a soft wave coming in and relaxing like the wave going out.
