Sitting Today


  • Here you are, sitting, perhaps for a few minutes longer.

  • Notice that you are alive and in your body.

  • Life is a gift, even when it doesn't feel like one.

  • Modify your posture for comfort, encouraging ease in your body.

  • Focus on breathing in and breathing out.

  • Follow the complete breath in and out.

  • Focusing on breath calms your body.

  • Now, as you breathe in gently lift your spine and as you breathe out relax your body.

  • Let lifting be like a soft wave coming in and relaxing like the wave going out.
